Came by plane from Hue to Hanoi very late in the evening, and arrived in Hanoi at 23 pm. I tried to look around for a couple of cheap hostels/budget hotels, but it seemed like everything was too expensive or fully booked. I came to Victory hotel after walking around the town a bit - The receptionists showed me a room for 22 dollars a night, and i was amazed at what i had acquired for so little money. The rooms were spacious and the design was flawless. The room was very clean and the wifi was super fast. Shower was amazing. Staff was SUPER nice and very helpful. The co-owner is the most beautiful girl i've seen in Vietnam so far! (Had a good joke with the staff about this one). They helped me book trip and hotel (the owners friend knew a guy) in Sapa. They knew some very nice restaurants and some nice places to eat. And they speak very good english. On my last day, i ordered some takeaway food at a restaurant so that i could eat at the airport. I forgot to ask for a plastic spoon, and the receptionist gave me a pair of chopsticks and a metal spoon, and told me i could keep it. SUPER NICE staff indeed!
